We want our users to decide whether to store their data on-premises or via a trusted Nextcloud hosting provider. Other third-party hosting services present potential threats and risks that may affect the security and privacy of your organization.
Does Sendent work with Nextcloud Community?
Yes! Sendent is compatible with both Nextcloud Enterprise and Nextcloud Community. While it’s technically possible to use Sendent with Nextcloud Community for open-source collaboration, we strongly recommend Nextcloud Enterprise for larger organizations. This ensures smoother operations, access to comprehensive support, and timely assistance when facing any issues.
What sets Sendent apart from other communication tools?
Sendent sets itself apart by placing a paramount focus on your data privacy. Unlike many competitors, we do not retain your data on our servers, ensuring that your information always remains under your control. What is Sendent for Outlook?
Sendent for Outlook is an add-in that enhances your Outlook application with secure email and file-sharing capabilities. It seamlessly integrates with Nextcloud to enhance data security, allowing you to share files quickly without leaving your trusted Outlook application.
Is the Free plan just a free trial?
No. The Free plan is designed for individuals who want to experience the basic features of Sendent for Outlook without any cost. It’s perfect if you’re an occasional user not requiring extensive features. You can use it indefinitely, but please note it’s intended for personal use and isn’t licensed for commercial purposes.
Can I test Sendent for Outlook before subscribing?
We offer a 14-day Plus trial to organizations who want to test our full list of features before committing to a paid subscription. Contact us to request a trial.
How do the Standard and Plus plans compare to Basic, Professional, and Premium versions?
Standard and Plus are the new paid tiers for our brand new web add-in, while Basic, Professional, and Premium are the plans for our legacy VSTO add-in. Think of them as two separate products with different installations. But, as a bonus, Sendent for Outlook Standard/Plus subscribers get access to the VSTO add-in too!

Nextcloud Exchange Connector
What is the Nextcloud Exchange Connector?
The Nextcloud Exchange Connector is a tool that enables bi-directional synchronization between Nextcloud and Microsoft Exchange, ensuring seamless collaboration for your organization.
What is the initial set-up fee for the Nextcloud Exchange Connector?
Configurations can differ in between organisations and from our experience, some additional support is needed for the initital set-up to improve your onboarding experience. We don’t think it’s fair to embed these costs in the yearly recurring subscription so that’s why we apply an initial set-up fee.
Does the Nextcloud Exchange Connector work for both on-premises and M365 installations?
Yes it does! Although we know that setting it up for M365 is more standarized compared to on-premises installations. So, if you have Microsoft Exchange on-premises, please contact our support team first via support@sendent.com before placing your order, so we can discuss your set-up.
