Yes! Sendent is committed to the open-source community, and we offer a free version that allows everyone to connect their Outlook to Nextcloud. For the full Sendent experience, you may check out our paid plans.

Can I test Sendent before subscribing?

We offer a limited Sendent Premium trial to organizations who want to test our full list of features before committing to a paid subscription.

How do I install and update Sendent?

Sendent is an Outlook Add-in, and you need the following to use it:

  • Microsoft Outlook 2013 for Windows and newer
  • .NET Framework 4.8

You must install Sendent on every local device where it is used. If your organization works with a Citrix server or other remote desktop services, we can help you automate the process for faster updates.

You can manage settings for your organization through the Nextcloud Server app. It works for all our versions, including Sendent Free.

Why do I need Nextcloud?

Sendent does not store your data, but it still must be stored somewhere. We believe that Nextcloud is the best choice for privacy-conscious teams and organizations that want full control of their data.

We want our users to decide whether to store their data on-premises or via a trusted Nextcloud hosting provider. Other third-party hosting services present potential threats and risks that may affect the security and privacy of your organization.

Does Sendent work with Nextcloud Community?

Yes! Sendent works with both Nextcloud Enterprise and Nextcloud Community.

How do I start using Nextcloud?

Nextcloud’s community edition is completely free and includes everything you need to start using Sendent. The next step is to find a place to store your data.

If you prefer to store your data on-premises (e.g. at home or your office), you can download Nextcloud here.

You can also sign up with a trusted Nextcloud provider to take care of your data storage. This option is the most convenient if you are new to Nextcloud and you want to get your system up and running.
