You can adjust Sendent’s settings to send more professional-looking emails inside and outside of your organization. In this article, we will walk you through your options for customizing your email templates.
HTML snippets
Professional and Premium users may customize the HTML snippet where the download link is inserted in the mail body.
We have included some sample snippets below. Please note that you need to modify the color scheme, logos, and formatting yourself.
WYSIWYG editor
Version 3.2.12 introduced a new WYSIWYG editor that allows you to edit the HTML templates right from the settings page.
Mail snippets
You may choose to modify the Upload Files, Public Share, Secure Mail, and Password in alternate mail snippets.
Inserting your logo
Professional and Premium users may insert their organization’s logo through Nextcloud app. Please check this help article to know more.
Tags
You can automatically insert all relevant tags under the dropdown “Tags”:
- URL
- Password
- Expiration date
- Recipients
- From
- Subject
- Files
- Current date
- Current time
- Logo
More customization
In case you want more free “control”, we also support overwriting the auto-generated HTML with your own.
Navigate to the WYSIWYG editor, click on “View”, then proceed to “Source Code”. You may paste your custom HTML code here.
Click “Save” to save your custom HTML code.
